Getting to The Valley
Charlton Athletic home ground The Valley is located in Floyd Road, South-East London. The club recommends using public transport to access the ground whenever possible.

From the M25: Get on the A2 from the second junction on M25. Follow the A102M towards Blackwall Tunnel, and leave at the junction after the A2 exit. At the round-about, take right into the A206 Woolwich Road. Go through the set of traffic lights at Anchor and Hope Lane and Charlton Church Lane, and take the last exit on the second roundabout to drive back on yourself. From there take first left into Charlton Lane. Cross the railway line and continue towards the right-exit for Harvey Gardens. The Valley is on your left.
From the south: Follow A205 South Circular Road to Woolwich, and at the roundabout for the free ferry turn left into Woolwich Road. Turn left into Charlton Lane and proceed as from the M25 above.
From central London: Go through the Blackwall Tunnel on the A102. Get off the second junction and take the first exit at the roundabout. Follow the A206 directions as from the M25 above.
By Rail/Underground
Charlton Railway Station is located close to The Valley. There are services to this station from central London in the west, and Kent to the east.
The North Greenwich underground station on Jubilee Line is the closest station to The Valley, only a short bus ride away (lines 161, 472 or 486).
By Bus
The Valley is perhaps most easily accessed by bus. The following routes have stops near the ground:
53, 54, 161, 177, 180, 422, 472 and 486.
Get off either at Woolwich Road or in Charlton Village, both short walks from the ground.
These services discharge passengers on the A206 Woolwich Road, or in Charlton Village, both a five-minute walk from the ground.
By Air
London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted are the nearest airports to Charlton and The Valley.
