Travel Insurance

Can you afford to travel without travel insurance?

Consider the following scenarios:

  • My wallet, cash, cards and passport was stolen from the hotel
  • My luggage didn’t arrive at the destination airport
  • I’ve caught the flu and couldn’t travel no matter how much I wanted to
  • A flight delay has caused us to miss our connected flight - we’re stranded at the airport
  • The airline ground crew went on strike when we were flying home
  • I’ve been mugged and have been taken to a local hospital with a broken arm
  • A terror threat was sent to the airport I’m at, so no planes are going in or out for another 24 hours
  • I’ve been called up for jury duty - and can’t make the trip

A good insurer will cover all of these cases. However - many insurances will only cover some of the scenarios listed above. So read the fine print, and choose an insurance with care to make sure your football trip won’t turn out to be a very expensive away defeat …

FootieTip: Check your other insurance policies before ordering travel insurance - your trip might already be covered or atleast partially covered through another policy.
